This classic setting features two taper baguette diamonds, one on each side. This diamond cut has a clean, dramatic sparkle with step-cut facets and a tapering shape. The baguettes are set with the wider ends held by prongs next to the center diamond, with the narrow end capped by a raised bar where it meets the band. In profile, the setting has beautiful open gallery work beneath the diamonds which adds a delicate touch and allows for additional light for the diamonds. The edges of the band are slightly squared off with a softly domed top. The entire ring is polished to a bright mirror finish. This setting is one of the most classic, enduring styles and works well with almost any center diamond. The diamonds in the setting are a minimum of I in color, I1 in clarity. Since the diamonds are in the near-colorless range, they should appear beautifully white in the setting.
